Day 170 - 12/31

Today is the last day of 2010, the year Blake entered our hearts. Before she was born, I couldn't imagine sharing my love for KK with another little girl, but they each have my entire heart. They make me smile, laugh, cry, and love life. So goodbye to a great year, and Hello 2011, a year that will be grand!

Day 169 - 12/30

Blake was happy to see her Godparents this afternoon when she woke up from her nap.

Blake loves being in water. She has started kicking her legs, splashing water, and laughing all at the same time!

Day 168 - 12/29

I love this girl!

Day 167 - 12/28

The rest of the gang (Kendall, doggies, and myself) came home today, and I couldn't wait to hold my sick little girl. Even though Daddy has been taking good care of her, I still wanted to be with her, especially when she's sick. She still has a nasty cough and is really hoarse but other than that she is doing much better.

Day 166 - 12/27

Blake is still feeling pretty rough so Daddy and her drove back home to Alabama so they could see the doctor. She was diagnosed with the croup. Her doctor said that her lungs sounded pretty good and she was breathing alright, so I guess we caught it early. She is on steroids for two days and hopefully she will start feeling better soon.

Day 165 - 12/26

Blake started getting sick Christmas night. She developed a low fever and a nasty cough. She sounds so pitiful...

Day 164 - 12/25

Blake's First Christmas!!!

Day 163 - 12/24

Kendall couldn't resist eating some of Santa's chocolates before bedtime.

The girls opened their Christmas Eve gift's this evening, matching pajamas. Kendall loved to see that her sister had the same pjs as her.

Day 162 - 12/23

Our little Elf in Training.....

Day 161 - 12/22

Day 160 - 12/21

The girls were so excited to get to Nanny's house!

Day 159 - 12/20

Blake and I took KK to the doc today, and she has another ear infection. Hopefully she gets better soon so we can get up to TN for Christmas.

Day 158 - 12/19

The camping crew reunited tonight for some gingerbread house making and paella! We had a great night up in TN with some great friends.

Day 157 - 12/18

Blake had a relaxing day at home with her Mommy, Daddy, Sister, and Nanny...

Day 156 - 12/17

Nanny came in town this evening, so Mommy and Daddy could drive up to Nashville to see Garth in concert. Both girls were thrilled to see her.

Day 155 - 12/16

Kendall had her Christmas program today at school. Daddy got back just in time to see it. When Kendall spotted us, she was thrilled to see Daddy, Mommy, and Blake, and Blake was happy to see a face on stage that she recognized.

Day 154 - 12/15

Blake slept like a rock star last night. She went to sleep at 8:30pm and woke up at 9:45am!

Day 153 - 12/14

As these hands get older, I hope they continue to grow closer together...

Day 152 - 12/13

It looks like someone enjoys being held by her sister.

Day 151 - 12/12

This is the face I see when I go get her from an afternoon nap.

Day 150 - 12/11

Lunch Time!

Day 149 - 12/10

Blake went to her first Christmas Cookie Exchange this morning.

Day 147 - 12/8

Blake: "Where's my Mama?"

Day 146 - 12/7

Clean Baby Blake...

Day 145 - 12/6

Blake has started doing something new - she is pursing her lips (as seen in this picture). It seems like she is rolling or biting her tongue with her lips closed tightly. Whatever she is doing, it's keeping her happy.

Day 144 - 12/5

A typical Sunday afternoon...

Day 143 - 12/4

We drove up to Murfreesboro today for Harper's first birthday! The theme was milk and cookies, KK's favorite two things! Blake couldn't have any cookies yet, but she enjoyed some yummy baby milk!

Day 142 - 12/3

Blake tried rice cereal today, and she wasn't a big fan. Her pediatrician recommended starting cereal anytime between 4 and 6 months, so I thought we could give it a try, but I don't think she's ready. We'll try again in a couple of weeks....

Day 141 - 12/2

Kendall loves kissing, hugging, and holding her little sister, Blake. The love she has for her just melts my heart.

Day 140 - 12/1

Kendall and I took Blake to her first Storytime visit at the library today! She loved watching all the kids sing, dance, and listen to the great storyteller!

Day 139 - 11/30

Blake had her 4 month check up today, and she is growing like a weed!
Weight: 14 lbs (50th percentile)
Height: 25 in. (75 percentile)

Day 138 - 11/29

Sweet Sisters...

Day 137 - 11/28

Ray sent me this picture while I was out seeing one of the Foster twins. I guess Daddy put Blake in Kendall's baby stroller and KK pushed her around. It looks like Blake is lovin' it!

Day 136 - 11/27

From the look on Blake's face you can say that she missed riding in her Baby Bjorn with Daddy!

Day 135 - 11/26

We had our Thanksgiving with all the Kells tonight! It was the first time Blake got to see some of her cousins. All they could talk about was her hair. :)

Day 134 - 11/25

Happy Thanksgiving, Blake! She looks like a stuffed little turkey in this picture. I love it!

On our way up to Nanny and Pappy's for the Thanksgiving Holiday!
