Blake continued to have a fever throughout the day yesterday and night, so we went to the doctor and she has a nasty double infection. Since she wasn't feeling well, big sister came to the rescue and read her a book.

Day 258 - 3/28
Once Daddy gets home from work, we takes Blake upstairs and let's her play in the closet while he changes clothes.
Day 256 - 3/26
It was a dreary day outside so we took the girls to Early Works Children's Museum.

Day 253 - 3/23
Our bath time routine:1. Both girls get a bath together sometime between 4 and 5pm (most nights)
2. KK gets out first and I wrap her up in a towel and she waits for "her turn"
3. Blake gets out and gets lotion, diaper and pjs on, and hair brushed
4. KK gets lotion, pjs on, and hair brushed.
Day 252 - 3/22
I know, they will kill me for taking and posting this pic when they get older, but I just had to! I think KK was pulling Blake's cheeks apart looking for more hair. Hehe!!!
Day 249 - 3/19
The girls and I went to the Botanical Gardens today. We met some friends for a Raptor Show, picnic, and playtime. Both girls had lots of fun and soaked up some warm sun.
Day 245 - 3/16
Wow, Blake is 8 months old today! Here's a little update on what she's been up to these days....*Still wears size 3 diapers
*Loves finding a paci and changing it out with the one already in her mouth.
*Drinks milk every 4 hours throughout the day. (7 to 8 ounces)
*Loves yogurt
*Is getting better about eating baby food. (likes bananas, peaches, sweet potatoes, and squash)
*Wants to crawl really bad but in the meantime she scoots around.
*Loves to stand (assisted of course)
*Will not stay put for a diaper change. (all she wants to do is FLIP over)
*Takes two naps a day
*Takes a bath with her big sister
*Has outgrown her bouncer, swing, carseat carrier, and bathtub.
*Loves to play with her sister's toys
*Still enjoys the baby bjorn
*Loves the ABC song
*Is swaddled at bedtime
*Has no teeth
*Giggles and smiles a lot
*Doesn't mind her sister playing a little too rough with her sometimes
*Wears 6-12 or 12-18 month clothes
*Plays in her crib when she wakes up
Day 241 - 3/12
Funny story about our trip to Sam's today........It's a Saturday, so there were lots of samples throughout the store and Blake wanted to try them ALL! She loved the strawberry yogurt and whip cream (yes, I gave her some). KK got a cookie, and Blake tried her hardest to get it from her. She pulled at KK's arm, pulled her shirt, and even tried to leap into her lap to get that cookie. So, KK shoved it in her mouth before Blake could get it. After today I can say that Blake is ready to eat some big girl food!

Blake is very interested in the Foster twins. She loves to touch their little bald heads.
Day 238 - 3/9
Today is my 34th birthday and I loved spending the entire day with both of my girls! They mean the world to me. :)
Day 236 - 3/7
Blake started having a runny nose and cough yesterday and later this afternoon I heard the "seal-like bark" while she was taking a nap. So, we visited the doctor and she's got the nasty croup again! She had the croup right after Christmas, but this case is definitely not as bad as the previous one. Oh, and she weighs 17lbs 11oz!
Day 235 - 3/6
I hosted a baby shower this afternoon, and the girls had fun with the leftover balloons.
Day 231 - 3/2
Tonight, we went to eat at 88 Buffet with some friends. It was the first time Blake sat in a highchair at a restaurant and as you can see, she didn't like who she was sitting next to. HA! Sorry, Shane.
Day 230 - 3/1
The girls had their first bath together tonight, and as you can see from the pic, Blake LOVED it!
